What is Trencadís?

Trencadís is an ornamental application invented by Antoni Gaudí, made from disposable ceramic fragments which the architect used, together with mortar, to cover the sinuous forms of his constructions. This application is characteristic of Catalan modernist architecture.
The trencadís is therefore an unforeseen encounter with a phrase of the Lacanian orientation.
A nuance seen in a picture, a book, a movie, a dream, an invention …
Something that is embedded in meaning, dissolves it and gives it another light.
A novel use of the concept that reorders, which is not without consequences.
The psychoses, the one and the other – under transference – invite the transmission of detached pieces that give an account of what Lacanian practice is today.
